Just in time for the holidays, I’ve added scheduled tweets to Fauxlowers.com. Write your Christmas and New Years tweets now, and we’ll tweet them for you at the time you specify.

All members can schedule up to 3 tweets at a time. Once one has been tweeted, you can schedule another one.

If you’d like to be able to schedule up to 100 tweets at a time in advance, as well as take advantage of a few other features I’ve just added, you can upgrade your Fauxlowers account for free. All you have to do is choose a tweet from the list on the page I just linked to and use the form to tweet it. Your account will be upgraded immediately.

How long it’s upgraded depends on how many followers you have. Members with 0 to about 100 followers will get a 7 day upgrade. In keeping with what I discovered about Twitter influence in the first issue of the Social Media Influence Report, the amount of time credited follows a “logarithmic” scale. For example, your time increases more for going from 100 to 200 followers than for going from 50,100 to 50,200.

Other new features available to upgraded members include:

• Complete control of your welcome DM message (all members can turn off welcome DMs, but only upgraded members can control the entire content of the message).
• See up to 50 “best followers and fauxlowers” on any Fauxlowers.com member profile (others can only see the top 10).
• Control how many “best followers and fauxlowers” others can see on your profile.
