(show more)This song by Sufjan Stevens is definitely a keeper. Very lyrical musically, with good folk-style guitar picking double tracked and good, tasteful use of studio effects to bring out a seeking, longing quality.
The lyrics are strong, with a spiritual quality. Thought at least parts were talking about reincarnation, but that may be my own cognitive dissonance interfering with the song. Good work, at any rate and I look forward to more -- glad this song was up as a freebie.
