Igor Stravinsky was reported to have said, "Good composer borrow (ideas from other composers), great composers steal." With that in mind I have to say that Danny Elfman has creatively dried up. Elfman isn't even cannibalizing himself anymore...he is incorporating the style of Hans Zimmer and the like, which is sad because Zimmer is growing so much as a composer-only to have a "once great" ride his coattails. Elfman's work is going down the same rabbit hole as Tim Burton: nothing fresh, nothing new-those who they've inspired are doing a much better job.

I have been listening to Sister Hazel for years, now probably since 2001. Download this album and let it play for a few days in your car, you will agree that they are a great band. I have seen them in concert alos, and I have to say they are just as great in person as on the CD (no auto-tune used here, haha)
